SAYADA MOMOTAZ AKTHER, PhD

I completed my PhD in Soil Science with a focus in Biotechnology from the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences at North Carolina State University- Raleigh, NC. Earlier, I completed my MS in Environmental Science (2019) and an undergraduate degree in Soil, Water, and Environment (2017) from the Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka- Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I would describe myself as a positive, responsible, and resourceful person who always embraces change with a positive mindset and never shies away from difficult challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and pursuing self-development courses to continue growing and improving.  I aspire to be a high achiever in my professional career.
